Smaller scars
also known as Band-aid surgery is a Minimally invasive surgical technique used in the abdominal and pelvic areas. It takes it's name from the Laparoscope, a slender tool that has a video camera and light on the end. It is put into a tiny incision in your belly. The surgeon makes tiny cuts and insert a tube through each opening, the camera and surgical instruments go through those. The images are displayed on a computer screen and the surgeon does the operation.
